Jon Horner is of counsel with Neuberger, Quinn, Gielen, Rubin & Gibber, P.A in our Delaware office. Jon focuses his practice on complex transactions involving the finance, acquisition, sale, lease and development of commercial real estate properties of all asset types. Jon has particular experience in structuring and closing sophisticated commercial real estate financing including CMBS financing, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, mezzanine and preferred equity transactions. Additionally, Jon regularly renders advice and legal opinions related to Delaware limited liability companies, limited partnerships and general partnership involved in a wide variety of transactions including joint ventures transactions and structured finance transactions.
Before joining Neuberger, Quinn, Gielen, Rubin & Gibber, P.A, Jon worked as an associate with Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A. in Wilmington, Delaware and as associate general counsel for a large Manhattan based private equity firm. Jon earned his law degree from Elon University School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies in cellular and molecular biology at Tulane University. During law school, Jon served as a clerk to the Honorable Robert N. Hunter, Jr. of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
