Price Gielen, a principal with Neuberger, Quinn, Gielen, Rubin & Gibber, P.A., litigates an unusually broad array of civil and criminal matters for clients throughout the Eastern Seaboard from Virginia to New York. His civil cases have focused on disputes between owners of businesses from many industries involving claims concerning frauds, breaches of fiduciary, real property and development rights, various debt and financial instruments and construction defects. He also has represented clients in numerous class actions and multidistrict litigations.

Over the course of four decades, Price has been lead counsel in more than 100 trials and arbitrations. While his practice primarily involves civil cases, he has won acquittals in federal criminal cases as diverse as tax fraud, mail fraud, bank robbery and illegal possession of firearms. In the civil arena, he recently represented a prominent Canadian family against the owners of a NFL football franchise concerning the ownership and operation of a very large and successful apartment complex in New Jersey. After one of the longest trials in that state's history, a verdict was rendered in favor of his client for more than $60 million, which included a punitive damages award of more than $20 million.

Price also has extensive experience as an appellate attorney. He has appeared numerous times before federal and state courts of appeal involving a diverse range of issues. In a recent Maryland Court of Appeals case, Willie Ford v. Antwerpen Motorcars Ltd., 443 MD 471 (2015), he represented Antwerpen Motorcars in successfully arguing that several documents executed at the time of an automobile purchase collectively constituted the contract of sale under Maryland law.

Price is a member of the Bars of Maryland, New York and the District of Columbia. Nationally recognized by Best Lawyers from 1999 through 2016 in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Criminal Defense: White Collar, Price has also been chosen as one of Maryland's Super Lawyers in the area of Business Litigation every year since 2007. He also holds the AV Preeminent peer-reviewed rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Price earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1976 where he served as the executive editor of Law and Policy in International Business. He began his legal career as a law clerk for Judge James R. Miller, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. From 1980 to 1984, he was an assistant U.S. attorney in Baltimore. Price received a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University where he was elected to Phi Bata Kappa, earned The Wall Street Journal Finance Award, played on the football and track teams, and graduated summa cum laude.
